• General Rules And Guidelines.

    Please read all rules as they pertain to posting and using our board, products and services.



    Be responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with members, and staff, Staff is always willing to listen and help.
    Be responsible for helping us KettlemoraineGrapics otherwise known as KMG Designs to set a high-standard for an active and friendly community.


    Be Respectful

    Be respectful of others at all times on this board. The purpose of KMG is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and support for its customers and membership.
    We are a commercial site. Occasionally, there will be conflicts that arise when people voice opinions. Be courteous when disagreeing with others.
    It is possible to disagree without being insulting.


    We Will Not Tolerate

    Any member posting links to pornographic sites or pirated materials. This is against the Rules of KMG.
    Any such posts will be immediately removed by staff and the member responsible will be banned as well as email address and IP address.


    Spam, Spamming and bumping are prohibited.

    Any member registering just to drop links for any kind of spam, anti-virus, drugs, banking whatever may the case be will have the post edited or removed
    and the member, email address, and IP address banned. Spam is also considered to be repetitive posting of the same text again and again or nonsensical posts
    that have no substance and are often designed to annoy other forum users. Bumping posts in order to keep them near the top of the list is also prohibited.
    Posts of this nature are not conducive to community spirit and are unwelcome.
    Spamming posts advertising other graphic or related sites is strictly prohibited. If you would like to see a site added to our current resources list,
    please notify one of the staff via PM and we will take your request under consideration.


    Plagiarism & Piracy.

    It really should not have to be said; but the point is going to be brought up anyway. There is a ZERO Tolerance Rule to Plagiarism and Piracy. Violations
    will cause an immediate Ban and topic and post will be deleted. The member may also receive an email sent by Administration explaining the decision of their removal.


    Ranting is prohibited.

    A rant is a post which is long-winded, redundant and filled with angry, non-constructive comments.
    A free exchange of ideas is essential to building a strong sense of community and helpful in the development of this site, but rants are disruptive and incite flaming and trolling.
    Please post your thoughts in a concise, clear manner and avoid going off on rambling tangents.


    Flaming and Disrespect.

    Personal attacks are prohibited. Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts which are designed to personally berate or insult another.
    Text of this nature is not beneficial to the community spirit and will not be tolerated. Any form of flaming will be removed and the violating member(s) will be dealt
    with by Administration.


    Defamation of Character, Slander, Libel, Cyber libel, Malice

    Defamation will not be tolerated on this board. In this case all documents pertaining to a defending member will be forwarded to that member should they choose to prosecute.



    Defamation is false and unprivileged spoken words or written publication, which exposes any living person to hatred, contempt, ridicule, or which causes
    him/her to be shunned or avoided, or which has a tendency to injure him/her in his/her trade or occupation.



    Slander is a spoken defamation. Defamation or "defamation of character" is spoken or written words that falsely and negatively reflect
    on a living person's reputation. A false charge that is uttered but not published is considered slander.



    Libel is a published or fixed form of defamation of character; a civil wrong that falsely impugns the reputation or character of a person or entity, opening
    the target up to public scorn or ridicule. Libel involves false statements knowingly presented as fact.


    Cyber libel

    Cyber libel is a catchphrase for defamation that takes place through the Internet, either on message boards, email, blogs, chat rooms, personal websites,
    or other published articles.



    Malice is a legal term that describes an intent, expressed or implied, to do harm to another individual or to a group of individuals.
    The term expressed malice describes a stated intent to do harm; the intention to do harm is clear, deliberate, and expressed.
    Implied malice describes situations in which there is no explicit statement of intent to do harm, but in which the intent to do harm is apparent.


    Trolling is prohibited.

    Trolling is the word used to describe a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting the members of the forum community.
    Posts of this nature are disruptive and do not convey a friendly attitude.


    No posting of personal information.

    Please respect the privacy of fellow members and do not give out information such as phone numbers and addresses.
    Private communication between Moderators and Administrators of the forum and the forum users is not to be made public on these forums or by any other venue.



    Warnings and bans are not to be discussed on the forum. Such matters shall remain private between the staff and the offending member.
    Questions or comments concerning warnings and bans will be conveyed through e-mail or private messaging.
    Likewise, discussions regarding moderator actions are not permitted on the forum. If you have questions regarding a post or thread,
    please contact one of our Administrators via PM.



    Immediate banning from the forum can result from any of the following:
    The posting of pornography; discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit,
    harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive;
    excessive obscene or vulgar language; posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity; providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned.


    Redundant threads will be deleted.

    As a courtesy to other members topics, before beginning a new thread, please
    look to see if an active thread on that topic has already been established.
    If so, place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter
    up the forum needlessly and many good ideas may be lost. Keep discussions about one topic to one thread only.


    Impersonating Others.

    Impersonating another forum user, moderator or administrator is strictly prohibited.
    You may not in any form or fashion login as another user. Violations will be dealt with severely by Administration.


    Advertising and Advertisements.

    You may not post advertisements.
    With the exceptions of the Advertising, Affiliation Modules and in your signature.



    Signatures should be kept at a minimum size so the signature doesn't take up the whole posting area.
    Remember others want to read the posts also. If a signature is found to be offensive please send a pm to staff and the member in
    question will be asked for it to be modified or removed.



    Avoid using profanity. Using partial masking (such as asterisks or punctuation marks) to bypass the
    profanity filter is prohibited and will result in the same action as if the actual word had been typed.


    Post constructively.

    Negative feedback can be very useful, provided that it is presented in a civil,
    factual manner. Tell us what you don't like and why and how you feel it could
    be improved. Posts that are insulting and rude may be deleted, no matter how valid
    the ideas behind them may be.


    Nulled Forum Boards

    We will in no way at all give any support to "nulled" pirated forum boards.
    If you have a nulled forum board, leave now. If we discover you are running an illegal IPB board,
    we will ban you immediately and report your board to the IPS piracy department. No exceptions.


    Disputes between Members or Staff.

    Disputes which cannot be resolved between forum users and moderators may be
    arbitrated by the forum administrators. To discuss problems or concerns, please
    contact an Administrator via our contact system.


    Personal issues with staff.

    If you have issues with a member of the staff or administrator at this board,
    you may NOT use the forums to air it out! All posts and topics will be deleted.
    Please contact the person it applies to.
    Please remember that if you break these guidelines you put yourself in a
    position to be suspended/banned or deleted from this board.
    Failure to comply with these rules will result in loss of
    membership, free or premium, without refund.
